The Grove Mart Gas Station and Car Wash

The zoning and plan approval for a proposed gas station and car wash for the Lake Pointe Phase II project was reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission on November 12th. The site is located along the north side of Algonquin Road, across from Wentworth Drive.  The applicant is proposing a 4,000 sq. ft. convenience store with 16 gas pumps (1 diesel) and a 4,650 sq. ft. car wash.   The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval and the Village Board approved the project on February 14th.  Construction is anticipated to start this spring.
