Ray Bogdanowski began his third term as Village Trustee on April 26, 2007. He is a Certified Professional in the field of Production and Inventory Management and is a member of APICS The Association for Operations Management. He is the Chief Operations Officer for a company in Elgin.

Trustee Bogdanowski has been involved in the community for many years with such organizations as Lake in the Hills Youth Athletics Association, Jaycees, Lions, Algonquin / Lake in the Hills Falcons and Lake in the Hills Citizens Police Academy, where he was in the first graduating class. Trustee Bogdanowski has also served as a member of the Planning Commission, Chairman of the Police Commission and Fundraising Chairman of the Sunset Festival. He has three children, Jennifer, Erin and Rob and has been married to Cheryl Bogdanowski since 1980.
