Projects Under Design & Awaiting Bids

 

2012 Water Main Improvements Program

This annual program continues the maintenance and replacement of existing undersized and/or failing main.  The project will consist of placing 8" water main along the following roadways:  Plum St, Maple St, Burr St, Cedar St, Pheasant Tr, Deer Path Rd and Hunters Path Rd.  HR Green Inc. is currently in the process of designing this project. 

 

 

 

Currently Underway 

 

Construct Taxiway A, Phase 2 (Paving)

Currently 95% Complete

Start: July 2011            Estimated Finish: November 2011 (Final Landscaping 2012)

This work consists of the asphalt paving and marking of the replacement taxiway pavement.  This phase also includes the removal of the existing Taxiway A, and construction of a retaining wall near the airport storm water basin.  The contractor received Notice to Proceed on July 25, 2011.  The project is substantially complete. Final landscaping and punch list items will be done in the spring of 2012.

 

 

 

Rakow Road Project

Start:  March 2011      Estimated Finish: November 2012

This project consists of relocating part of the roadway, widening of the roadway, rebuilding the intersections along Rakow Road and constructing a new pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Rakow Road for the bike trail east of Pyott Road.  If you would like up to date information about the project you can visit the website at
