Park History

BARBARA KEY served on the Village Plan Commission and Safety Advisory Committee. She was appointed to the Village Board in 1981 and appointed Village President in 1983. She was elected President in 1985 and served until her death in 1993. In 1988, the park was named in honor of her efforts to have the Fen and surrounding property transferred to the Village.
