Park History

GORDON LARSEN was a developer and businessman in Lake in the Hills for 40 years.  Gordon helped establish the Illinois State Bank in Lake in the Hills.  Gordon was a former member of the Village’s Economic Development Commission and was instrumental in shaping the Village of Lake in the Hills through volunteer and monetary donations.
