Welcome to the Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation Department. Established in 1997, the Parks and Recreation Department oversees 33 park sites. The department also manages several beaches, playgrounds, baseball, softball, soccer fields, bicycle trails and administers all recreation programs, special events, trips and outings.
Trudy Wakeman is the Director of Parks and Recreation. She previously served as the Village's Superintendent of Recreation and was promoted to the position of Director of the Parks and Recreation Department in March, 2002.
The Parks and Recreation Department is also served by: Andrew Gemmell, Superintendent of Recreation Casie Peltz, Recreation Supervisor Trevor Bosack, Recreation Supervisor Pat Loresch, Administrative Assistant Debra Wahlberg, Secretary

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Finance Department has extended hours Thursdays until 7:30pm, providing limited services. |
