Basic Academy - Illinois State Police Training Academy

Specialized training /certification in the following: Crime Scene Technician; Supervision of Police; Police Medic; Breath-Alcohol Testing; Youth Officer; Field Training Officer; Interviewing & Interrogations; Drug Abuse Resistance Educations Officer (D.A.R.E.) Officer; D.A.R.E. Parent Program; Problem Oriented Policing; Gang Enforcement Specialist; and Violence Education and Gang Awareness (V.E.G.A.) Officer.  Sgt Vollmer is a practitioner of Crime Prevention though Environmental Design (C.P.T.E.D)

Sergeant Vollmer has been a sworn Police Officer with the Department since 1986. She has been the recipient of the State Award for Excellence in Education Program.
