The
Government Finance Officers Association presented the Village with the
Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the FY2007 Budget period.
FY2007 was the eighth consecutive year that the Village has been presented
this award!
A Certificate of Recognition for Budget Presentation was also presented to Gerald D. Sagona, Village Administrator for being instrumental in achieving this award.
The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting. Its attainment represents a significant achievement for the Village. In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communications device. |
