Pavement Rejuvenation Starts Monday, June 1

Post Date:05/27/2026
Starting Monday, June 1, drivers should be watchful of road crews implementing the Village's pavement rejuvenation project. Work takes place on several streets throughout the community, and continues for about one week.

The annual project helps prolong the life cycle of our asphalt streets. A material called Reclamite gets sprayed on the road and has a 20-45 minute cure time. It leaves no surface coating, but a light application of sand or limestone screening follows. The street is swept 1 or 2 days afterward. Striping is not compromised and remains visible.

Thank you for proceeding carefully when driving through work zones.
