The Police Department's National Night Out Community Cookout takes place from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

 

The free family event will be in a new space outside the new Police Headquarters. Parking will be available at Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate.

 

The event will feature food, fun and activities for all ages, including a chance to meet the crew of the LifeNet helicopter that will fly in. Enjoy free hotdogs, chips and pop while playing games and seeing a K-9 demonstration.

 

Explore police and fire vehicles along with plows and big trucks from Public Works. Try on a pair of DUI fatal vision impairment goggles. And all of this fun is just the start!
