State Anticipates Moving to Phase 4
On Friday, June 26, 2020, the Village of Lake in the Hills, along with other areas of Illinois is expected to enter Phase Four of Governor Pritzker’s Restore Illinois Plan.
The reopening plan is guided by health metrics and contains distinct business, education, and recreation activities guidance characterizing each phase to reopen the State of Illinois during the COVID-19 pandemic. To prepare businesses and employers to implement new and updated safety guidelines in Phase 4, the State of Illinois has developed a business toolkit complete with signage, posters, and other resources to ensure business and activities are conducted in accordance with the latest public health recommendations.
Phase 4 guidelines include five new industry categories and updated recommendations for the existing categories from Phase 3. Each set of guidelines includes a common set of guidelines that are expected and encouraged among all employers and activity types, as well as workplace and program-specific guidelines.
The Village is currently reviewing the guidelines issued earlier this week and will announce any changes in operations on its website, on social media, and other publications on Friday, June 26th.
