About Bark Park
The Lake in the Hills Bark Park is a 10-acre park for dogs and their people.
At the Bark Park, visitors enjoy shade, a large running area for dogs, convenient on-site parking, combination water fountains for dogs and people, and solar lighting.
Open daily from dawn to 9 p.m., the Bark Park provides space for year-round exercising and socializing, both important activities that boost your dog’s health and temperament. Dog parks promote responsible pet ownership and give owners the chance to legally let their dogs run off-leash.
The Bark Park features a small “dog adjustment area” that allows new or aggressive dogs to get comfortable and acclimate to their surroundings before entering the larger areas. The main areas of the park feature exciting agility equipment and open spaces that are perfect for exercising and letting dogs run, roam, and say "hello" one another.
The Village of Lake in the Hills added solar lighting to the Bark Park entrance to improve visibility and security after funding was generously provided by the People for Parks Foundation of Lake in the Hills. The park is well-maintained by the Village Parks Division and may occasionally be closed for maintenance.
Come on out to enjoy the Bark Park with your four-legged friends!
