Don't wait, save time by using our online reporting service for non-emergency, not in progress incidents.
For your safety, do not use this system to report in-progress crimes. For emergencies, call 9-1-1. A valid phone number and email address are required for online reporting. All reports are reviewed by a police officer. If there is a need for more information or if further investigation is required, you'll be contacted by an officer. Remember, filing a false police report is a crime.
All online reports will be processed through our secure portal powered by Frontline Public Safety Solutions. The information submitted using the portal is safely and securely transmitted to us, and is available 24 hours a day.
The incidents that CAN be reported online are:
- Credit Card Fraud
- Criminal Damage to Property (Under $300.00)
- Criminal Defacement (Under $300)
- Gas Drive Off (Gas Stations Only)
- Identity Theft
- Lost Property
- Report for Insurance
- Theft Under $500
In the 'report narrative' section of the report you must:
List all details regarding the incident - the who, what, where, when. You should be telling a story about what happened. Be very detailed as this information is needed for the officer to file the report.
Attach any related photographs or documents.
If it is applicable to your report, state if you are just requesting a police report for documentation or if you are pursuing criminal charges/criminal investigation regarding the report you are filing. Be advised, the pursuit of a criminal investigation and charges may require your participation in future court proceedings should charges be filed.
Instances that CANNOT be reported online include but are not limited to:
- Emergencies or any in progress incidents
- Assault, battery, or sexual assault
- Missing person
- Burglary
- Burglary to a motor vehicle
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Hit-and-run involving a vehicle
